Who we are

Who We Are

We're leading Industrial Solution in Worldwide

Alzia Drilling has a wealth of experience gained from more than 18 years in the industry. Today we’re proud to offer one of the world’s youngest and most advanced fleets, manned by a highly skilled workforce with a hunger to innovate

Our Heritage

In the harshest and deepest drilling waters in the world, we have spent several years thriving, and these experiences have made us eager to learn, strengthen and create better solutions to our challenges. Our progress has always been underpinned by our founding values – values to which we remain true today.

Offshore oil and gas are in a race to produce the most competitive barrel of oil. But with hundreds of different suppliers and numerous interfaces involved, it has become more difficult for operators than it needs to be to deliver a well efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

18Years in the Industry
Every hour spent on a well counts there’s a lot to play for.

Smarter Drilling for Better Value is Alzia Drilling’s response.

Today, while pursuing new business models and emerging innovations, we strive to deliver operational excellence. We aim to increase protection and performance and reduce cost and complexity, thereby making it more efficient for offshore oil and gas.

We provide strategies for preparing, coordinating, and integrating the resources involved in a drilling campaign. We seek to minimize the overall non-productive time (NPT), maximize productivity, and enhance protection for our clients by enhancing teamwork, simplifying interfaces, aligning rewards, and using creative new methods around the supply chain.

"Alzia Drilling is fully committed to reducing well costs for our customers. We see great potential in a deeper collaboration across the industry to eliminate inefficiencies and create joint value."

Our Executive Leadership Team

Our Executive Leadership Team has spent several years working and offering several main skills around our industry. They are proud of the organization they lead and humble in the knowledge that without the larger Alzia Drilling workforce they will accomplish little.

Our Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors represents a wide range of expertise, experience, and insight into the fiscal, organizational, commercial, and security dimensions and opportunities of different business models in the industry. In addition, the directors have important in-depth knowledge of the offshore drilling industry and its customers' geopolitical and macro-economic aspects.

Sustainability

Through the provision of drilling services to energy companies, we aim to promote economic growth and development globally, while ensuring that we do business responsibly for our customers, shareholders, employees, and society as a whole.

Alzia Drilling aims to promote economic growth and development internationally by supplying oil companies with drilling services. In the most conscientious way possible, we are committed to doing so.

We are committed to many goals and programs to protect people and the earth, building on our tradition of sustainable business practices.

The sustainability strategy of Alzia Drilling is guided by three main pillars, including Responsible Business, People, and the Future of Sustainable Energy. These pillars are framed around eight UN-defined Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with the addition of a ninth, SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, as a key facilitator across all three pillars.

Safety, Diversity & Inclusion, and Climate Action are our key areas of focus across the three pillars.

Contributing to a sustainable energy future

Climate change is one of today's biggest challenges facing the world. By significantly reducing emissions from our operations and exploring ways to store CO2, Alzia Drilling is committed to doing its part to combat it.

We aim to minimize our company's carbon intensity as well as our clients and supply chain activities. In pursuit of this goal, we have set a target to reduce emissions by 50 percent by 2030, which forms the basis of our Climate Action Plan.

We are first and foremost a people business

Alzia Drilling strives to maintain a supportive and productive working environment that stimulates all of our people to grow and develop. We want to make sure that we have a positive impact on the individuals affected by the company through contributions to the local communities within which we operate.

Diversity & Inclusion is a key focus area for us. We have set a target of 30% onshore female leadership by 2023 to further promote the company's diversity.

Responsible business is part of how we work.

Alzia Drilling is committed to being a good corporate citizen as it is rooted in our core values. Responsible business involves protecting individuals and minimizing the adverse effects of operations on the environment and society.

Alzia Drilling has a strong record of responsible initiatives, including our strong security strategy, the hosting of Supplier's Days, the development of an anti-corruption toolbox, and a comprehensive Code of Conduct.

Commitments

UN Global Compact membership

Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Fundamental labor conventions of the ILO

Support to the Paris Climate Agreement

We also set up a dedicated Carbon Task Force responsible for recommending low-emission investments to be deployed and will exploit the specific engineering capabilities of the organization to explore innovative solutions. A critical aspect of the approach would be close cooperation with clients and partners.

Smarter Drilling for Better Value

Many drilling campaigns suffer from inefficiencies caused by challenges of teamwork and a diverse supplier environment.

We aspire to deliver operational excellence with our strategic ambition of Smarter Drilling for Better Value, while pursuing new business models and emerging innovations that reduce uncertainty for our customers. In our current best-case scenario, we have been able to save up to 36 percent on-time and equal savings on resources and pollution in a drilling campaign by rethinking the conventional ways of managing drilling campaigns through partnerships.

Safety is our number one Priority

Safety is not merely a concern for us, but a commitment. Traditional thinking on safety is questioned and new ideas are discussed, with an emphasis on occupational health and safety at work, the protection of the natural environment, and security in a wider context, to change the way we work to achieve our target of ZERO serious injuries through policies and initiatives.

Our commitments and improvement indicators

With ZERO serious injuries, we are committed to performing our activities out of harm's way, all the time, everywhere. Find out our commitments to health, safety, defense, and environmental policy and how we plan to meet them here.

Protecting the Environment

Alzia Drilling is committed to environmental conservation and the avoidance of any adverse environmental effects arising from our activities. The center of our efforts to ensure ZERO chemical spills into the waters of the world is our Corporate Major Accident Prevention Policy. Our environmental efforts also include fuel efficiency systems that we introduce to reduce CO2 and NOx emissions during rig movements in cooperation with our customers; environmentally friendly waste management capabilities onboard our rigs; and the world's first CO2-neutral mobile offshore drilling rig powered by a renewable hydroelectric power source.

A number of our rigs and Headquarters are ISO14001:2015 certified, and the rest are ISO14001:2015 compliant.

Security

Alzia Drilling works in areas with very complex security risks around the globe. Wherever we conduct business, ensuring that our personnel, assets, activities, and everyone physically present at a Alzia Drilling facility are safe is our priority. We fulfill our duty of care by implementing the PEARS model in order to achieve ZERO security incidents, protecting in order of importance: individuals, community, properties, credibility, and stakeholders from potential harm. At Alzia Drilling, the security measures we employ are always compliant with relevant local laws and regulations as well as leading standards of international human rights. Measures of non-approved security must never be used.

Occupational Health

Our people are our most precious commodity, a central component of our core values. We are committed to ensuring a fair and secure workplace environment and minimizing both short-term and long-term occupational health hazards. We operate with physical and mental health monitoring, all our equipment has 24-hour medical services available, and our doctors are responsible for emergency medical procedures. We are working systematically to restrict the use of potentially harmful chemicals that can have both short and long-term effects on the health of workers. In addition, we have a stringent policy on alcohol and controlled drugs, as we see this as a possible threat to our employees' health, safety, and security.
